We are back on the road!

Here we go again!!!

The scene in the van before Daddy realized he forgot his wallet...

  

Can we make it to Oregon and back? 

 

On the way out of the neighborhood, for the first time...

 

It has now been 32 hours since we left and we are nearly 1100 miles away from home!

 

We actually made it past Utica without a "meltdown"...

Last night's hotel was pretty creepy but tonight is an Oasis!  

They didn't want to wake up...

Today's drive was a marathon, including a total of thirteen and a half hours on the road... ugh... 

Epic traffic jam south, west and then north of Chicago...

A crisis did arise today when we realized that Emma had never been to Michigan. Luckily, a 5 minute diversion to Sturgis rectified the problem.   

Michigan was only a quarter of a mile away...

Emma is now even at 42 states with the rest of us...

 

Tomorrow promises to be another long day in the car (10+ hours) as we travel to North Dakota!
