We spent about 100 miles and a pleasant lunch on Route 66 today. Not the most "happening" stretch of the road but fun nevertheless.
Sign on the Santa Monica Pier.
Sign in Kingmen, Arizona.
Did not stop at Gas-N-Grub, although it did appear to be open (maybe next time).
This part of the route takes us through the Hualpie Indian Nation.
Lunch. Malcolm had his 22nd hamburger and french fries here (estimated number but not far off). Emma had her 5th plate of spaghetti.
This is where we left it again for the 75 mph speed limited "freeway". But that is another story...
