Yosemite Day #2 (without the tour)
One thing we noticed, without the tour bus and guide, was that getting through the park was much more difficult. The kids were looking forward to seeing the trees again but we were told when we arrived that the "parking lot was full" and that we should "drive 4 miles back to the people waiting for the shuttle bus". We respectfully declined and started out towards our hotel instead (it had a killer pool).

ReplyDeleteFrom the pictures it looks like Jacob and Malcolm are getting taller by the day -- or are you slouching in the picture shelly. And Emma is still :) all the time.

Did it feel wierd to JUST hang out by a pool on vacation?! I mean, after all the driving and touring and pictures (oh my!) ... was it wierd to just hang and swim?! Looks like the Holiday Inn selections have been good for you guys! :)
